The idea of Serendipia routes was born a few years ago in Ethiopia, considered the cradle of humanity, land of origins they call it. For the agency, it was much more than a destination, it was the place where this project came to life, among imposing landscapes and ancient cultures. A country that became my home for the last 6 years…
But I’ll tell you everything from the beginning so we can get to know each other. Many years ago, while I (Antonina) was still studying my degree in Tourism at the University of Alicante, I received a study grant in Siberia. Of course, without a second thought, I took the first flight available and voilà, I discovered what would become my greatest passion.That incredible feeling of arriving in a place you’ve never been before, that thrill of doing something for the first time…
So I decided to transform my passion into a profession, initially working in various travel agencies as a tour guide, route designer, reservation agent, tourism technician, travel coordinator… Eventually, I founded Serendipia Routes.

Although I started this project alone, the team has been growing, completed by coordinators, local guides, and organizers scattered around the world, equally passionate about travel and this philosophy.
Serendipity is discovering something valuable by chance and by coincidence, discovering something better than what you were aiming or looking for. History is full of such events, even in science: the discovery of penicillin, Archimedes' principle, the discovery of America, the discovery of Alexandria’s Roman catacombs…
